Athena's Monthly Message for February 2025

As I connect in with Athena, we are meeting in a sacred cave. There is a fire glowing bright in the center of the cave, and we are gathered around the fire in a circle. We are sitting on something unique to each of us. Some of us are sitting on blankets, others on sheepskins. We each have a sacred mug in our hands, filled with a sacred beverage. Some of us are drinking cacao, and others hot herbal tea. We are calm, and at ease, and paying close attention.

Athena explains, “Dear ones, we are gathered here today to remember community, and to remember our role in our community. Each of you has a role within your community, and each role, however big or small it might seem, is sacred and irreplaceable. You, my dear ones, are truly irreplaceable. As we gather together this moon, we are nourishing our bodies with the sacred plant medicine of your choice. You must also nourish your body by making sure it is comfortable - hence the blanket, or sheepskin of your choice here today. As we gather together, we are reminded of our uniqueness, of our choices, and also the importance of working together, and community. All of you are brothers and sisters in the gaze of humanity. All of you have work to do, both inwardly and outwardly, and all of you have something sacred, something beautiful, something useful to bring to the table. The sacred fire is here today to remind you, each of you, that you are a part of something greater than yourself. Greater than the sum of you, greater than the sum of your parts. Greater than your neighbor, greater than all of us here today. You are a part of this great tidal wave of change that is crashing across the world, energetically, at this time. Some will try and outrun this wave. Some will try to hide from it. But you, my dear ones, you will ride this wave of great change purposefully, bravely, and with a deep sense of knowingness that everything will be ok. Look deep into your heart. Feel deep into your heart. You know you are safe. You know you are here for this reason. You know you have a place in this world. A place in your community. A place at the table. You know that each and every human, plant, animal, and being has a place at the table too. You know, deep down, that this change is mighty, yes, and that it is one to be embraced with open arms. As you embrace this change, as you surrender to this change, know that you are a part of this change. Indeed you, yes, you, play a pivotal role in this change. This change that represents the righting of power. This change that represents a return to co-creation. This change that demands that every one have a place at the table. There is no turning back. There will be bumps. And yet, you will be ok. You will be more than ok my dear ones. You are the ones heralding in this change, here together, with the sacred fire. As you hold steady energetically, you hold steady for those around you, and this, my dear ones, ripples out. Out into the Earth, yes, but dear ones it ripples even beyond the Earth. To worlds beyond. To dimensions beyond. To accessing knowledge and wisdom from beyond. And so, as you sit here on your sacred blanket, with your sacred plant ally, holding this sacred space with the fire, and with your brothers and sisters, remember to tend to your body this moon. Tend to your outside body, and your inside body. Your job is to hold steady. Hold steady, hold steady, hold steady, and remember your role within your chosen community. Dear ones, this is not a moon to worry. The act of holding steady will not come as a burden. It will bring steadiness and ease and peace to your every day life. And so, celebrate this role. Celebrate your brothers and sisters, ride this wave of change, and celebrate the sacred elements around you. Be blessed my dear ones, and come back to this cave often, throughout this moon.”
